The terms you meet in Enclessa and its guides, in alphabetical order.

TermMeaning
ActivityMentions and notices from every app that are waiting for you. Mentions stay until you read the channel; notices until you open them. See Chat.
All appsThe grid icon at the end of the app row: every app you may open, grouped, with pins. See Finding your way around.
App (or module)One part of Enclessa, such as Chat, Time or Finance. An app appears once your organisation installed it and somebody gave you a role in it.
Booking linkA public page the product hosts where people outside the organisation book the appointment types the link offers, until the date it stops working. See Bookings.
BotAn account a program holds. It signs in with a token instead of a password, carries only the scopes given to that token and reaches only the rooms somebody added it to. See Administration.
BundleA set of modules an organisation of one kind usually starts with, installed together from the Marketplace with whatever they need. See Marketplace.
Channel adminA member who manages one room and who is in it. See Chat.
CompanionThe built-in AI assistant. It acts as you and asks before it changes anything, unless you set a tool to Just do it. See Companion.
CountersignatureThe customer's signature on an issued contract — signed online through Signing or uploaded as a scan — filed as the contract's Countersigned document. See Contracts.
Customer CenterThe customer's own sign-in, where people at a customer work through an onboarding, read and sign documents, book appointments and see invoices. See Customer Center.
Document packet (packet)One or more documents sent to a customer in the Customer Center, each asking for reading, acknowledgement or a signature, with its recipients and due date. A packet is frozen once sent. See Send a document packet.
ElsewhereThe Calendar's overlays from other modules — absences, appointments, board due dates, project dates, reminders — each with its own toggle. They are read-only and managed in their own module. See Calendar.
End-to-end encrypted roomA room where only the members' devices hold the keys. The server relays what it cannot read: no server search, no export, no bots. Its header carries a lock and "Encrypted". See Chat.
EndpointIn Incidents, the connection an alert source (Prometheus Alertmanager or Grafana) sends to. It decides the room an incident is posted in and the rotation that is paged. See Incidents.
EngagementIn Finance, a record that tracks one sale's legal steps from the first question to the archive: the terms, the withdrawal notice, the acceptance, the data processing agreement, the handover. See Run an engagement.
EnvelopeOne or more PDFs sent for signature, with its recipients, signing order and sealed result. See Signing.
Explain accessThe console screen that tells you, from the server, whether a person may do something and why — with a what-if that saves nothing. See Access and roles.
GradeA person's standing in the organisation: owner, administrator or member. See Access and roles.
GroupA working group inside one team. A team is the container, a role says what somebody may do, and a group says what they work on. See Manage groups.
GuestSomebody invited to particular chat rooms and calls only. Guests take no seat on the plan.
Hours accountIn Time, your recorded hours against your expected hours through the year. The difference is your Balance, shown at the foot of Time's sidebar. See Time.
JourneyIn the Customer Center, a template of steps — to read, video, questionnaire, upload, signature, appointment or confirmation — that an onboarding runs through. Changing a journey never changes onboardings already running. See Build a journey.
Legal holdIn People, a hold that outranks every retention rule and erasure for the records it covers. See People.
Managed roomA room the server can search, retain and export. Its header says "Managed". See Chat.
MarketplaceThe console page that installs apps and decides who gets them. See Marketplace.
OrganisationYour company's own Enclessa. One account can belong to several; switch from the organisation name at the top of the sidebar.
OwnerThe person who holds every permission in the organisation, including billing. Only the owner may hand the organisation over. See Billing.
Palette (search palette)⌘K (Ctrl+K): jump to any app, page or setting, and search records and messages. See Search and jump.
PortfolioIn Projects, every project grouped by health, worst first, read from the updates owners write. See Projects.
Reply proposalA draft answer a language model prepares for a conversation in a shared mailbox; nothing is sent until a person takes it into their own draft. See Mail.
RoleA set of permissions in one app or in the console, given to a person, team or group. See Access and roles.
RotationIn Incidents, the on-call order: who is paged, with a daily or weekly handover and how long to wait before escalating to the next person. People with an approved absence are skipped. See Set up on-call.
SchemeA named set of team roles that teams stay bound to. A change to a scheme is written through to every bound team. See Edit roles.
SidebarThe column on the left: organisation, your pinned apps, the open app's own list, and your account at the bottom. See Finding your way around.
Smart listIn Reminders, a list that collects reminders by rule rather than by list: Today, Scheduled, Flagged, Assigned to me, All and Completed. See Reminders.

System consoleWhere administrators run the organisation: people, access, settings, Marketplace, audit. See Administration.
Tax reserveIn Finance, the amount to put aside for VAT and income tax from the documents that contribute to it. Enclessa shows the amount and payment details; it does not transfer any money. See Set aside the tax reserve.
TeamThe container for channels and people. Being in a team puts you in its public channels; team roles decide what you may do there. See Access and roles.
TicketA conversation in a shared mailbox tracked with a status, priority, assignee and response targets. See Mail.

Your accountSettings that belong to you: profile, security, devices, notifications, sidebar. See Your account and settings.
